What Does It Take to Earn the Mama Approved Seal?

Not every business makes the cut. To earn the Mama Approved Seal from Mamas & Minis, a business must meet criteria in one of two categories:

Category 1: Mama + Mini Approved

Perfect for outings with your littles

Mama-Friendly Atmosphere

Welcoming to strollers (wide aisles, accessible entrance, stroller parking)
High chairs or booster seats available
Clean, accessible restrooms with changing tables
Staff who are patient and kind when chaos happens

Safe & Clean Environment

Clean play areas (if applicable)
Safe spaces for crawlers and toddlers to explore
Well-maintained facilities

Kid-Friendly Offerings

Kids' menu or toddler-approved options
Activities, toys, or entertainment for littles
Indoor or outdoor space where kids can move around

The Vibe

A place where moms don't feel judged for messy kids, tantrums, or needing a moment
Somewhere you can actually relax (or at least try to!)
A space where both mamas and minis feel welcome
